Il Gran Maestro della Gran Loggia Regolare d?Italia Fabio Venzi

Fabio Venzi

Fabio Venzi, sociologo e saggista, è nato a Roma nel 1961. Si laurea in Sociologia presso l'Università La Sapienza di Roma con una Tesi sui “Rapporti tra la Massoneria italiana e il Fascismo”. E' fondatore e direttore della rivista di filosofia e cultura massonica 'De Hominis Dignitate'. E’ direttore della collana di studi esoterici ‘Opus’ per la casa Editrice ‘Settimo Sigillo’.

È Gran Maestro della Gran Loggia Regolare d'Italia dal dicembre 2001 e membro della Loggia Quatuor Coronati N°2076 di Londra, la più antica Loggia di Ricerca del mondo.

Oltre agli studi storici sulla Libera Muratoria i suoi molteplici interessi e il suo approccio interdisciplinare lo hanno portato ad occuparsi anche di Esoterismo, Alchimia, Sociologia delle Religioni, Psicologia Sociale.

Nel 2007 ha ricevuto dall'Università di Reggio Calabria il Premio Bertrand Russell ai "Saperi Contaminati" tenendo nell'occasione una Lectio Magistralis sui "Miti e Simboli nel 900".

Nel febbraio 2022 è stato premiato da Paramahansa Nithyananda, oggi universalmente riconosciuto come il massimo rappresentante del Sanatana Hindu Dharma, con il ‘The Kailasa Om Award’, il riconoscimento “Will highlight rhe contribution of religious and spiritual leaders from various faiths and religions across the world towards ensuring global peace, harmony and unity”.
